A few weeks ago, my sons and I had the opportunity to visit The Little 'A Le' Inn in Rachel, Nevada. The Inn is located about one hundred miles north of Las Vegas. It is the only town on Nevada's 98 mile St. Rt. 375, a highway that is better known as, The Extraterrestrial Highway.
The Little 'A'Le Inn is near the infamous Area 51 and just a few miles from Nellis Air Force Base. Needless to say, their have been many sightings of weird lights and air craft above the little town of Rachel.
The Little A'Le'Inn, has wisely capitalized on the ufo/alien phenomena. A combination restaurant/tavern/gift shop/motel, it is an oasis of fun in, literally, the middle if nowhere. Think of a roadhouse in the middle if Mars and you have a pretty good idea if what The Little A'Le'Inn is like.
We enjoyed our stay so much, I decided to write a song about the inn.
